| California Legislature Passes AB 2168 in Support of Farm Stands |

October 9, 2008 AB 2168 enhances market oppertunities by allowing farmers to sell processed products such as jams, dried fruits and oils, at their farm stands, without being classified as Retail Food Facilities, thus freeing them from being subjected to all of the requirements under the California Retail Food Code. The bill was signed into law by the Govenor on September 27th. Find out more here.
