October 14, 2008 Edible City is a documentary film that will explore the idea of food sovereignty through a comprehensive view of the Bay Area urban farming community. By examining local models, from personal backyard gardens to community-supported agriculture to rehabilitative and vocational gardening programs, the film projec showcases the diverse motives, goals, and personalities of the people involved – their successes, and the challenges they face.
