Call For Volunteers –
How would you like to meet new people, help them connect to the sustainable food movement, and have fun at the same time?

Roots of Change is looking for volunteers to work in groups to gather endorsements of the Food Declaration and add members to Changemakers Network.  We are organizing teams throughout California to set up tables at farmers markets, grocery stores and special events.   The shifts are only four hours and you won’t be asking for contributions.  The benefits you receive include a “Vote with your fork” t-shirt and straw hat.

If you'd like information about opportunities to join in at your local farmers' market or other events, contact Tiffany Nurrenbern at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

These photos are from Slow Food Nation in San Francisco where 40 volunteers gathered 3500 signatures on Labor Day weekend.  Most of the time we didn’t even have to ask people to sign.  They approached us, asked a couple of questions and signed up.
