Each of these regional meetings introduced Roots of Change, outlined the ROC vision for a sustainable food system for CA by 2030, and invited attendees to become involved by joining the Leadership Network. Tables of six to ten people considered and discussed three questions: What might you contribute to this effort? What would that do for you? What would that do for the effort? The questions helped people consider their self-interest along side the interest of the health of the whole system. The responses clearly show that people throughout California have the skills, energy, and resources to begin make this vision into reality. It is ROC's job to help connect this network of people and resources in the most effective way to create the economic, social, and environmental health we all seek.
