The choice relfects the growing movement of eaters throughout the U.S. who are intentionally eating local food, generally within a 100 mile radius of home.

USDA SARE's New Voices Contest

Its about sharing a vision for sustainable agriculture - in words, video or photographs, and it's not just for farmers.  Winners will be awarded a trip to the national SARE conference to be held this summer.
