November 13, 2007 The New Oxford American Dictionary has announced its word of the year for 2007 - LOCAVORE! The choice relfects the growing movement of eaters throughout the U.S. who are intentionally eating local food, generally within a 100 mile radius of home. Read more about the NOAD choice here.
